Rest breaks

TheÌýfollowing test versionsÌýinclude additional time for rest breaks:

  • UCATANZ SA hasÌý20 minutesÌýavailable forÌýrest breaks.
  • UCATANZ SENSA has 25% extra test time withÌý25 minutesÌýavailable forÌýrest breaks.

If you are approved to sit one of these versions of the test, you should familiarise yourself with the functionality to pause your test to take rest breaks.

We are unable to integrate this functionality into our practice materials, therefore please watch the video tutorial and read the instructions below carefully before your test day.

Important!

  • Candidates can pause the test to take a rest break.Ìý
  • You are limited to aÌýmaximum of 3 rest breaksÌýinÌýeach sectionÌý(subtest or introduction screen).
  • When you take a rest break, the time is deducted from your total rest break time allowance.Ìý
  • During rest breaks, you do not have access to test content as your computer screen is obscured.ÌýYou areÌýnot permitted to use your notebook or noteboards during rest breaks for any purpose including actively working on test questions.
  • In the eventÌýcandidates are observed actively working on the test during a rest break, this may be reported to the ²ÊÉñVl Office and investigated as potentialÌýcandidate misconduct. Exam logs may be reviewed to check this behaviour.
